El Español también se llama Castellano, es la lengua nativa de 20 países, de los cuales solo dos están por fuera de America. Estos son España (Europa) y Guinea Ecuatorial (Africa). Actualmente es hablado como primera y segunda lengua esta ente 450 y 500 millones de personas siendo la segunda lengua mas hablada en el mundo, en términos de idioma nativo, (después del mandarín), la tercera mas hablada (después del mandarín y el ingles) y la segunda mas estudiada (después del ingles) con aproximadamente 20 millones de estudiantes

Por ser un idioma nativo de diferentes países el español presenta una muchas variedades fonéticas en la pronunciación de letras c, s, z al igual que la ll y "y". Las diferencias también se dan en el nombre que le damos a las cosas, como los colores, las frutas, elementos y expresiones de de la vida cotidiana y hasta los insultos! Sin embargo, todas estas variaciones no impiden que podamos entendernos entre todos los hispano hablantes. Cuando hay una conversación entre hispanos de países no es raro tener que pedir aclaración, pero es precisamente esta gran variedad lo que hace el idioma rico e interesante!
Because Spanish is the native language from different countries, it presents a lot of variations. They could be phonetic with the pronunciation of c,s,z and ll,y. There are also variations in how we name things as colors, fruits, elements, and expressions of everyday life. Even insults! However, all this variations do not prevent us to understand each other, but is not uncommon in a conversation between hispanics from different the need to request clarification! That is what makes spanish so rich and interesting.
